NPR AUDIO STORYTELLING

If you are needing to learn how to use audio clip in different mediums, or wanting to create podcast, or

want to know what can make a great audio story. Then this workshop can help strengthen an attendee’s

audio, writing, and editing skills in a day. Brian Brashier a NAJA member and director of KCNP, Chickasaw

Community Radio says, “If I go, I would want to acquire the skill of realizing equal audio quality, (volume

and tonality,) for interviewer and multiple interviewees.”

This event will be on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at NPR, 1111 North Capitol Street, NE,

Washington, DC. However, participants need to bring their own laptop and need to ahead of time

download audio editing software. They require an application in advance. The workshop encourages

media professionals in every career stage to apply. Interested groups are required to send an email with

your full name, media organization, job title and cell phone number to nprworkshop@npr.org. The

deadline to apply for this workshop is Sunday, June 21st. For more information you can visit the NAJA
